ADF Fail Activity, aka Raise Error

Microsoft has just added the Fail Activity to ADF to be able force a failure within a pipeline. So no longer do you have do things like call a stored procedure to raise an error or force an invalid data type assignment and other techniques used previously to Raise an Error.


I need to get busy with some updates to ChillETL to remove my workarounds to handle what was an ADF shortcoming. ChillETL, by the way can really reduce your ADF development time while providing a stable, low maintenance ADF solution.
